1. How powerful is RK3588?

2. Based on the smart NVR scenario, what can RK3588 do?

The following are five major RK3588 NVR application scenarios, namely RK3588’s 32-channel 1080P@30fps decoding capability, 6.0TOPs NPU computing power, multi-screen display capability (4-screen display), network storage forwarding and disk recording capability, and 8K 30HZ output capability.

1）. Rockchip RK3588’s powerful decoding capability.

RK3588 has 8K 60Hz decoding capability, can decode 32-channel 1080P@30fps scenes, and realize 8K output, presenting better quality images.

2）. Rockchip RK3588’s NPU computing power.

RK3588 has 6Tops computing power. While decoding 100-channel D1@30fps, it can implement at least 24-channel x8 frame perimeter algorithm for real-time video analysis.

3）. Rockchip RK3588’s multi-screen display capability.

Relying on Rockchip’s fifth-generation display post-processing technology, RK3588 can achieve true 8K 60HZ and 4K120Hz display capabilities, and can support up to 7 1080P high-definition display, truly achieving ultra-high-definition, high frame rate, and multi-screen display with any combination of resolution. The figure below shows 144 channels of D1@30fps decoding and video display, achieving 3 4K 30Hz outputs plus 1 1080P 60Hz output.

4）. Rockchip RK3588 has powerful network storage forwarding and disk recording capabilities.

The rich data interfaces of Rockchip RK3588 allow users to have bold imagination in product planning, PCI-e3.0/PCLe2.0/SATA3.0/USB3.1/USB2.0/TypeC/GMAC, which can meet the application of big data, artificial intelligence, and high computing power scenarios. The following figure shows 640MB storage forwarding, which can also support RAID disk bit arrays and can be used in server fields such as large-capacity data storage, Internet cafes, and data security.

5）. Rockchip has RK3588 4K 120HZ output capability.

In the case of 120Hz display output, the picture is very smooth and fluent. By comparing the different refresh rates of 60Hz, 30Hz, and 15Hz, it can be clearly seen that the 120Hz output picture has a smooth refresh effect.
